Tax relief checks are government rebate checks that are issued by the United States government to help lift the burden on tax payers. These tax stimulus checks are available in several forms. In order to receive these tax stimulus checks you must meet a few tax regulations. Those who haven’t filed taxes yet are usually not eligible, although sometimes the government will grant a tax relief check.

The tax relief checks are simply mailed out in the form of a refund. In the United States, people are to pay their taxes in advance, so they are able to calculate their tax liability. In the case if taxes were overpaid, the taxpayer will receive a tax relief check refund.

Sometimes tax relief checks are mailed out early as a form of tax stimulus check to help stimulate the economy so consumers purchase goods. When the tax rate changes, the government sends out tax relief checks with the difference between the old rate and new rate.

Tax relief checks can vary different amounts. Sometimes there is a standard amount that all people receive. Other times the amount is calculated based on the income of the taxpayer. Tax relief checks are randomly distributed on a set schedule once announced for the particular year.
